What ages do you suggest for this type of session?
We love to photograph minis of all ages! The youngest mini we’ve captured was just barely six months old. We have stool and chair options for even the littlest loves. As long as they can sit up on their own in a bumbo or high chair, we can absolutely work our magic with your little one.
Do you photograph in color?
While we specialize in timeless, black and white photographs, we do offer a limited color add-on option for $35/per session for those who would like more variety (duplicate images of select black and white photos are delivered, and chosen at the discretion of the photographer).
Can my mini bring a favorite toy, lovey, or blanket?
Absolutely! We encourage it. Kids grow up so quickly, and we want to capture this single moment in time so you can cherish the memory for years to come. If your mini has a favorite toy, lovey, or blanket that’s a part of who they are, we want to celebrate this piece of them!
Where can I print my images?
Your images will be delivered in an online gallery that offers print purchases. We highly recommend printing directly with our preferred printer for the best quality photos. We offer a wide variety of ways to print your photos - standard prints, fine art prints, albums, framed photos, glass box keepsakes, and more.
How much is a session?
We offer three packages: The Signature, The Themed Mini, and The Portrait Party. Please visit our Sessions page for more information on pricing.
How long is a session?
Sessions vary in length from 10-20 minutes per shoot, depending on the package.
What is the turnaround time for the gallery?
Galleries are available within 3 weeks of the shoot date.
What should my mini wear?
We want your mini to feel their best. To create a timeless look, we encourage clean, simple clothing without logos or strong patterns. We recommend avoiding bright white. With that said, we are able to photograph your mini in any type of clothing, so if you’d like their clothing to match their personality, you are welcome to dress them in whatever attire you prefer!
How do we prepare for the session?
Prior to the session, make sure that your mini’s face is clean, their skin is moisturized, and their boogies and snack crumbs have been wiped away! Please arrive on time to ensure we can take advantage of the full session.
Do you offer sibling photos?
Yes! Two siblings should be booked in one session time. A session fee is required for each child. We will photograph each sibling separately, and if desired at the end of the session, we will photograph the siblings together! We cannot guarantee group participation but will do our best to capture the special bond between your minis.
Do you offer photos with parents?
While our sessions are specifically designed for single portraits, we can take a few group photos at the end, if desired. This is not our expertise and we cannot make any guarantees.
Is there a travel fee?
There is no travel fee within San Diego county. If you are located outside of San Diego in Southern California and are interested in a Portrait Party, please email us for a quote.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand things happen and we do our best to accommodate unforeseen circumstances. We kindly require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice if your plans change and we will work with you to reschedule your session for a later date. Once booked, your portrait fee is non-refundable.
